Coinciding with the Summer Solstices and the annual Dakini Sangwa Yeshe Drupchod, Rinpoche consecrated the newly hanged World Peace Lungta Prayer Flags at the garden of One Thousand Buddhas. There are several prophecies from Guru Rinpoche and other masters that, such warfare and pandemics will appear, and even deadlier warfare will occur if people don’t engage in virtuous actions and accumulate merits. So one of the solutions to avert this dark age recommended by Guru Rinpoche in the treasure teachings is to recite and hang the prayer flags called “Lungta for Bringing Peace and Happiness to the World”.

Rinpoche commissioned and sponsored to print over a hundred thousand Lungta Prayer flags in Nepal last year and hoisted them in Tibet, Nepal, Europe, India, and the USA as well as requested other masters to do it in the same way. He also commissioned to build many Guru Rinpoche statues of various sizes and installed them in Pharping, Nepal, Ewam Pema Khandrol Ling, and Ewam Buddha Garden.

This year again, as per Rinpoche’s wishes, Namchak Khen Rinpoche Ngawang Gelek, Namchak Dorje Lopon Chokyi Lodroe Rinpoche, and Namchak Lama Tsomo along with their students and Ewam Sangha community sponsored to print thousands of World Peace Lungta Prayer flags and hanged at the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas. Khenrinpoche will be also initiating various other projects recommended in the prophecies such as erecting Guru Rinpoche statues to pacify this difficult situation.
